Teeth Whitening in Milledgeville, GA

Are you hesitant to smile in pictures because your teeth are yellow or stained? Would you like to whiten your teeth before an upcoming big event like a wedding, graduation, or reunion? The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends scheduling a teeth-whitening appointment at least one month prior to your big event so that you have enough time to assess the results and address any potential sensitivity issues. At Frank Arnold Dentistry, our in-office teeth whitening services are your “golden ticket” to a brighter, whiter smile.

Tooth-Whitening Method We Use

After a thorough examination of your teeth and gums, Dr. Arnold will discuss options with you for unleashing your whitest, brightest smile yet. Because it is so safe and effective, our practice uses Zoom™ light-accelerated, enamel-whitening technology within a process that takes roughly one hour. If tooth sensitivity is an issue, we can discuss preparatory measures like using anti-sensitivity toothpaste prior to your appointment. Please note that although whitening does remove stains from your enamel, it does not change the enamel itself. If your enamel does not whiten to your expectations, there are other procedures available that will allow you to achieve your aesthetic goals– including crowns, veneers, and dental bondings. Our friendly office staff will be happy to help you choose the best option for you.

How does Zoom™ teeth whitening work?

As a newer method, Philips Zoom™ Blue LED light-accelerated technology and gel are combined with Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP) to help improve luster, reduce sensitivity, and deliver enamel protection. When performed by an experienced dentist like Dr. Arnold, the Zoom™ whitening process is clinically proven to whiten up to 8 shades in only 45 minutes.

At-Home Tooth-Whitening Remedies

Over-the-counter (OTC) teeth-whitening products are available as pastes, gels, mouth rinses, and strips. Many people in Baldwin County have tried them at home to achieve whiter, brighter smiles.

However, at-home enamel-whitening products usually don’t work as well as the Zoom™ in-office method that Dr. Arnold uses. That’s because they don’t contain the same formulation of ingredients, nor use a special light to accelerate the whitening process.

When not used as directed, some at-home whitening products can also cause significant– and
even permanent– damage to your teeth.

Cost and Insurance Options

Don’t let the hassle of insurance keep you from achieving the brighter, wider, more natural- looking smile of your dreams. At Frank Arnold Dentistry, our knowledgeable staff will file the insurance for you. No insurance? No problem! We will be happy to discuss your options for pay as you go cosmetic dental care.
